A little Angel stopped by...

A little angel stopped by to give a kiss!!

She shared a few of kisses with me and her Buppa.
We are so blessed!

I cannot believe it has been a month since I started working. And I can't believe it has been a year since I had my surgery for Breast Cancer!! And I really cannot believe that this is my 61st. Good Friday and Easter!! Oh my how time flys.

Please take the time to enjoy your family this Easter Season.

" My servant grew up in the Lord ’s presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.

He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.

Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away.

No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord ’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants.

He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord ’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins." (Isaiah 53:2-11 NLT)

We are counted righteous.
We who believe who He is.
We who are called according to His Purpose.  Amen

Remember Easter Sunday is the best day of all. It's not about bunnies and eggs even though He did create them, but it is about Him, our Creator, Jesus Christ and what He did for us. He rose again so that we can have eternal life and be with Him in heaven forever.

Bunnies and Traditions

Good day!

This is the Wednesday before Good Friday and Easter Sunday. I am so excited because it means I am off work for Easter Break and I am able to show off all my Easter cuties. As you can see by my mantle, I have many little cutie bunnies that have been given to me by a loved ones or purchased by me. I also love silver trays and white flowers. I also love to make the many different styles of banners, that you can see on Pinterest, with whatever wording you so desire.

One of my favorite things to do is put together little vignettes for all to see.

My daughter Elyse is very talented and made this "He Has RISEN" Easter card for my sister this year. She is very talented.

My Momma painted this little porcelain little bunni pushing a flower cart.

These are few of my favorite miniature cuties. I love this time of year when I can bring them out.

Do you decorate for Easter? I just like to decorate but my sister, she is the amazing decorator. I will take some pictures and post after Easter Sunday. We owe it all to our Mama. Who to this day loves for her house to be decorated with lots of pretties.

This year for Christmas all of us girls, daughters, grand daughters and great grand daughters, took a day and went and helped Mom decorate her home. Starting a tradition. Love it!

Many blessing going out your way this special Easter Sunday.
He is RISEN! He is RISEN indeed!

A Beautiful Day...

Good day all!! Today has been a beautiful day here in So Cal. The sun was shinning , the birds were singing, and the flowers they are a blooming. Mr. Wondeful and I enjoyed a leisurely God-filled morning. He with his black coffee and me with my Chai tea.

As i sit here enjoying my restful evening, I'm still kicking around the questions I asked last time I wrote.

My week was good! Work has been awesome.  I am thankful I work for a Christian School. I have been working two days on,  off one, and back for two. My energy level seems to be getting better which I am so Thankful.

Every morning I wake up, thanking The Lord for being my Jehovah Jira, my provider, my Jehovah Rapha, my healer. My Jehovah Shalom, my Prince of Peace, and Jehovah Nissi , my Lord, our banner over us, our refuge, to whom we run in times of weakness.  And Because of who He is and for what He has done I give Him glory and worship Him.
I wonder why He has chosen me to go through this Cancer thing and live, while others He chooses to take home?

Today we had the privilege to attend the Memorial or Celebration, as his daughter Sammantha called it, of  Dr. Bob Bender. It was a joyous occasion because we as Christians know that we will see him again in heaven. He was a great man of God who for the last three years fought the good fight.   You can read a tribute to him here: http://southtahoestanduppaddle.com/2013/03/the-hero-in-our-hearts-a-tribute-to-dr-robert-bender/

In listening to what his family and friends said about him, makes me wonder what will be said of me when my family have a memorial for me. Do you ever wonder what your legacy will be or what those who love you will say on that day???

I pray you had a great God-filled Saturday and have an inspired by God's Word Sunday.

Love in Christ,
Honey

Questions?? So many questions....

Good day!

I haven't written for a while. It is difficult trying to find my voice, as they say in "Bloglandia", and figure out what I want to say on my blog.

I guess I have to answer some questions regarding that.  Like, what do I want you to know about myself.  Do I want to show you how to do things, what I think of things, or when to do things?  Do I want to share about what I learn or what I have learned?  Do I want to tell you what The Lord has shown me in my 60 years on this earth or just the 30 odd years that I have been walking, not only with Mr. Wonderful, but with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So many questions? Aghhhhh!

I am not good at answering questions!  I am one of those that has to eat the question, then I have to digest the question, and sometimes it takes days, months, and
 sometimes years.

Anyway if you can help me answer these perplexing questions please comment and let me know.

So for now I will leave you...

This little Angle visits me often with her little friends.

She is very inquisitive.

For now I Thank the Lord for all that I have, Peace in Him, Mr. Wonderful, Two beautiful daughters, two great son-in-laws, a granddaughter, (I love to pieces) and another granddaughter on the way.
                                                                  Love in Christ,
